Should they fine you for incompetant spelling?
Too bad Wisconsin doesn't have a concealed carry law and the mayor was packing. The situation would have turned out very differently.
Only first degree murder is mandatory life without parole, unless pardoned. Second degree murder will usually get you out in 20 years or less, if you behave yourself in the joint.
I've spoken to a few people at WOOD and told them to look at the comments made and that their site has turned into something it was never intended for. They are now considering shutting it down, because a few people are misusing it.
There are many times I have to work on a ladder at work, with no one else around. You just have to be careful. There are certain OSHA rules to follow: On a step ladder, don't go higher than the third (ladders are labeled as such) step from the top. Maintain 3 point contact, only one hand free. All four ladder feet, no wobble.
On an extension ladder, 1ft. away from the wall for every 4 feet vertical, legs on level ground and if you're working from the ladder, it should be tied off at the top.
If you lose your drivers license and you drive drunk, they should impound and sell your car. Since they have databases, car dealers and car rental agencies should be tied in so they can see if you have a drivers license before they rent or sell you a car. As for borrowing a car from a friend, if they know they will lose their car by loaning it out to a person who gets drunk, they won't loan it.
That would solve all these problems.
When I was about 16, I was fishing on the West bank of the Grand River by the North Park Bridge and when I turned my back to the bridge, I felt a sharp pain in my back. When I turned around, I saw a guy on a bicycle with a pellet gun slung over his shoulder. I went after him, but he got away. I was ready to shove the gun up his a**. I still think abou it.
If it was truly a case of self-defense, the charges should be dropped.
My former neighbors collected $25,000. in a settlement with the people that live in back of them, after their dog jumped a 4ft. fence and bit their little girl who was playing in her back yard. She needed quite a few stitches. The dog's owners didn't want to give up the dog, but the judge had the dog put down. On top of it, their insurance company who paid the settlement told them if they got another dog, they would cancel their homeowners insurance. I'm sure their premium went way up to boot.
