Congress is spending & printing money like water. I'm thinking that the government must be FLAT BROKE because this week the President hosted a luncheon at the White House for four CEO's of major corporations and they were asked for their credit cards! What do they know that we the people don't?

The way I understand it. The house wants the SENATE to pass this bill first. because the Blue Dogs need cover. So next week the HOUSE will defeat this bill so that everyone can go home in August with out fear of being laugh at. Then after the Senate passes this bill, the House will re-vote and guess what! By then they will have all the votes that they need.

PG 425 Lines 4-12 Govt mandates Advance Care Planning Consult. Think Senior Citizens end of life

Pg 425 Lines 17-19 Govt will instruct & consult regarding living wills, durable powers of atty. Mandatory!

PG 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Govt provides apprvd list of end of life resources, guiding u in death

PG 427 Lines 15-24 Govt mandates program 4 orders 4 end of life. The Govt has a say in how ur life ends

Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An "adv. care planning consult" will b used frequently as patients health deteriorates

PG 429 Lines 10-12 "adv. care consultation" may incl an ORDER 4 end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOV

Pg 429 Lines 13-25 - The govt will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order.

PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Govt will decide what level of treatment u will have at end of life

Actually the group that may stall this bill in the house are the freshman. I heard someone say on Monday that they are the one group that is the most nervous about voting in favor of the HC bill. As for the blue dogs -- the President threw them a bone to shut them up!

HR 615 says members who sign the bill are URGED to enroll. Sounds optional for any member of congress who loves walking on political sandy beaches while wearing flip flops.
