Yup. Babies are the best birth control known to man. Especially the grumpy ones or evil ones. I LOVED "poor sinner".

Thanks for visiting on my SITS day! I'd say my marriage's mission is about supporting each others dreams right now. But I think that it's an ever changing purpose, too!

Oh, I felt that squingy discomfort (yes comment spellchecker machine, I did just make up a word) that the main character must have been feeling. The need to be polite. The courtesy of an earlier generation that quickly can devolve into paternalism and sexism. And the release of 'kid'

DOH!!! Dagnabbit, the one night you needed traffic to be a little slower. .. I do feel for your little one with the test, and I love the way her sounds became the bulk of the post.

Happy SITS day. I'm afraid most of my exfoliating happens when my dog tackles me and I land face first scraping along in dirt.

Happy SITS day. I had to give up measuring my boobs years ago. They don't cooperate for the tape anyway. But I had a lot of fun at a bra fitting where the clerk brought in a bunch of D cups and I said, "here, you cram these titans into that." And she tried, God love her, but I was spilling out everywhere but the nipples.

Happy SITS day! I love that image of you swimming back to shore from the depths of the water. I've never been to Coney Island. I've never been to New York. I'm enchanted by this image of your day.

Happy SITS day. Your story is simply beautiful. He should have been excoriated for not telling you sooner. And yet. His fear of losing you was so obvious, so great. So wonderful. I think I'm in love. Uh. With both of you. In a platonic totally not stalkerish way.

Lay-lie drives me crazy. My mother-in-law, my VERY EDUCATED mother-in-law gets this one wrong. Which means her son, my husband, ALSO used to screw it up. (He got sick of hearing me grouse and started getting it right.) I try not to correct total strangers, but WHEN MY CHILDREN'S TEACHER also says "lay" for "lie", I get a little grumpy. OK a LOT grumpy. I mean, it's one thing for a blogger to screw something up. We're all pretty much our own only editors, and stuff is going to fall through the cracks. But habitual grammar errors by people who ought to know better just drive me up a WALL.
