All it is is a gussied up quadcopter. I have one I got for $120 that will carry a camera, fly around stable in brisk winds due to internal gyros, and do acrobatics that would make an airforce pilot jealous. The guys request was worded silly, but these are hardly army research.

What is there to be at odds about? There are what, a dozen cell phone videos in the past couple years of police brutality on unprovoking citizens, whom prior to video releases were charged with either an assault or resisting that never actually happened? And then the PD has the audacity to illegally try and prevent the release of internal videos. If they don't need serious reform, who does?

I've always been a huge debit card user, but when I found out about all these fee's places pay I've tried to use cash for most purchases. Still don't like carrying around wads, for safety reasons, but screw credit card companies for getting money for nothing.

It has already been established by the government and freakin NASA that the 'unintended acceleration' stuff was bogus. Nothing more than old people and distracted drivers hitting the wrong pedal.

Next story please.

Condolences to the owner.

Regarding fireworks, I think we need to get invaded by China or the like, have a few million citizens taken out in the process, and then gradually and painstakingly drive them from our lands. Pretty sure fireworks of any sort would be a-okay for another hundred years at that point.

Never forget.

Cheapest option is 100% transparency, and payouts out of police funding. Blaming the 'city' is kind of like blaming the government as a whole because your road has potholes. It is ONE persons fault usually, and that is the person that should be held accountable.

I personally think police should be held to a REAL double standard, as in double punishment, as they are in a position of power and assumed respect. Their word is gold in the courts and only arguable if a victim of power abuse is lucky enough for someone to catch the act on video.

That doesn't mean you and I should pay someone millions of dollars for being roughed up. The civil legal system has become nothing more than a lottery for the wronged.

Blacklist and fire the cop, pay any medical and lost wages PURELY out of the police funding. If that leaves them short, they better keep a better eye on their brethren.

"A lawsuit against the city of Seattle and a police officer"

Here's my problem with that. "against the city of Seattle" ie: against those paying taxes. So dude gets belittled and beat up, and he's probably going to get enough money to retire 5x over, from us. That seems fair.

Doesn't have full insurance on a 2008, and it's a work vehicle? Seriously? This guy was asking for it if that's the case.
