I am upgrading my wife from the 1st gen. iPhone to a 3gs running 4.3.2 with BB 05.13.04 jailbroken and unlocked.
My guess is I just have to sync the 3gs with HER iTunes, but, I want to make sure we do not loose cydia, the SHSH blobs etc.
So I guess my question is: Will syncing with her itunes ruin the unlock? If so, what is the best way to do it.

I got 3gs running 4.3.2 with BB 05.13.04 that I want to pass to my wife, Jailbroken and unlocked, SHSH blobs saved etc.
I would be upgrading her from a 1st gen iPhone. What would be the best way to do it without loosing the unlocked and saved blobs etc?

And if you did mean 4.0.1 wouldn't the shsh blobs had been saved when he opted to "make your life easier"
I do have a Mac and that is the reason he comes to me for help.

Great work again DevTeam!!.
I have a friend phone a 3GS Version 4.0.1 BB: 05.13.04 and he tells me he used the "make my life easier with cydia", and he does need unlock.
I want to confirm I can use PT to upgrade to 4.3.1 and he will retain his unlock.

I jailbreaked and unlocked my wife’s 3G using redsnow and ultrasnow to 4.0 back when it came out, and then used Cydia to “make my life easier”. The problem is that the phone is now to slow, to the point that you cannot answer because it takes forever to “unlock to answer”.
Can I downgrade to 3.1.3? should I upgrade to 4.1 using PwnageTool 4.1.2 or redsnow? or is it anything else I can do to make it work better?

I am a bit confused, and I would appreciate some help,
iPhone 3GS version 3.1, Serial 839384XXX model # MB715LL
firmware 05.11.07. Never Jailbroken.
Also I am still running iTunes 9.0.3 (I try not to upgrade as recommended).
Can I use PwnageTool 4.0.1. to jailbreak and unlock?

Again the idea is to keep his options open. Is it better to JB at 3.1 and backup his SHSH on cydia? or should I recommend him to wait til 4.0 and see whats available at that time?
