My guess is I just have to sync the 3gs with HER iTunes, but, I want to make sure we do not loose cydia, the SHSH blobs etc. So I guess my question is: Will syncing with her itunes ruin the unlock? If so, what is the best way to do it. The problem is that the phone is now to slow, to the point that you cannot answer because it takes forever to “unlock to answer”. I have a 3Gs 3.1 (7C144) with baseband 05.11.07 My wife a 3G 3.1.3 (7E18) with baseband 05.12.01 My son a 2G 3.0 (7A341) with baseband 04.05.04_G We are currently with at&t, so we do not need the unlock, but I have always wanted to keep my options open. In any case I do need the jailbreak because my wife and son do not have a data plan, so I use bossPrefs to make sure they do not use data at all. My wife 3G came with 3.1 so I was never able to unlock it, and as any married man can testify, no matter how many times I explained to her how not to UPDATE with iTunes, she found a way do it, just yesterday. My questions: Can I use pwnagetool 3.1.5 to jailbreak my wife 3g? Should I attempt to downgrade it to 3.1.2? To JB my 3Gs, version 3.1 as it came from the factory, what is the best path? And finally, my son 2G, Just upgrade to 3.1.3 with iTunes and then pwnagetool 3.1.5 to jailbreak right? If this is wrong, PLEASE let me know.
