But there is a reason for everything - actions = reactions - right or wrong - there are consequences.
The Lab has allowed this to happen - and have taken a "hands off" approach - while spending the time on countless rolling restarts, fixing "high level security leak at backend" with no explanations - and stepping into the "Marketing/Promotion" arenas - they've not cared, and the track record shows they've done the AR/DMCA crap - and it's fruitless - allowing more and more issues to arrive - So your generalization, is totally off the mark.
While you are so quick to stepup on the soapbox, and shout foul - you need to understand that your blinders need to be lifted and proper knowledge of a statement needs to have a leg to stand on, before you can claim superiority.
***** Editing to add -
The content creators are tired of supporting LL - without creations, and the drive for the almighty L$, the Lab would not be here, and surely not making what they do off of transactions/uploads/selling & buying of currency, and their service charges - and the creators cannot get SOME protection. Like wearing a raincoat in the shower - your feet still get wet.
I know Kat, I know her well - and I know the character of this woman, which someone like you - could not even muster if it was handed to you - so please, do yourself a favor, have a cup of stfu.
1) uhmm ok.. at least there was a gift (I was not aware it needed to be a certain style/color/shade)
It's been made to be a HUGE deal to set standards, it's not, it's a matter of implementing a system, much like the adult verification - LL quickly set that into motion, and made it possible to verify - this too can happen with 3rd party viewers -
"Don't bite the hand that feeds you" comes to mind.
I am sorry to see it close and wish the best for all.
For LL - it's about "cleaning" up the listings - or so they say, but it would seem they want their piece of the pie - that 5% - for ALL items listed on Xstreet.
Also .. from what I have gathered - LL is trying to "clean" up Xstreet - and we all know how that will work -
