'Dr. Horrible' further proves that a BtVS movie without Joss Whedon is just a bad, bad idea.

Agreed. I didn't realize, when this went up, that the film would be far removed from the series. This doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense. Write a script decent enough to lure back the original cast, and the rest takes care of itself.

(My oldest is 14, and both a Twilight AND a Buffy fan. You make a BtVS without Spike, Angel or Giles, you can just forget it. Besides, she's still got that sparkly, dirty English kid.)

Looks cool. Bruce Willis looks like Stone Cold, kinda.

I liked 'Children of Men' so much. I haven't seen 'Dreams...' yet.

I don't know what the rest of those are about. Henry Rollins and Ron Perlman... and noodles and boobs and snow, near as I can tell. Eh.

Oh God. I have an ex who swore nothing ruined a movie like a Spunky (Precocious / Snotnosed / Lippy / Fuckin' Annoying) Kid.

My kids are Buffy snobs, they'll be most unhappy. I'm not thrilled either. However, I know we'll all give it a chance. The girls would watch it just to see Willow and Giles again.

I think Two and a Half Men is one of the better shows out there right now. I find Sheen's real-life skankiness distasteful, but his character is unabashedly icky and the show seems to have decent writers.

Penn & Teller is a pretty good show, too. It seems to be all over the place up here, timeslot-wise, but every time I manage to catch it, I enjoy it.

Finally.

Viggo is Every Man. He'll do well, and better than that.

It goes on the calendar, but I won't believe it until October 16 of this year when I'm sittin' in a theatre, lookin' up at it.

As a Canadian, a Torontonian, and a Cronenberg devotee, I dismiss this as fucking retarded.
