Dear City of Longmont:
Please enforce the alley easments, property lines, building codes and so forth. The "problem" will diminish. The responsible property owners shouldn't suffer for those who don't maintain their trash disposal, as well as electris/phone/cable access. Is this not why the easments and alleys were established?

As a 50+ year resident of BoCo, this is nothing new. However I agree it is getting worse and more dangerous for what appears to be "both factions", of which I have been and remain on occaision, both. Yes, I agree that more aggressive law enforcement of bike riders should help. And yes, I've paid all the taxes referred to as a homeowner, driver, biker and all the rest. Once upon a time, taxes were levied for recreational bike trails, open space, as well as fuel taxes for roads. That was back when people had and showed respect for strangers and people they didn't happen to know, and folks warned their children to always "look both ways, twice". What happened? Only the shrill survive?
