Thank you so much! I didn't even consider PPC or Intel conflict. I hooked up pwnage tool to my Intel and it went thru super fast! Thank you so much again! That was driving me nuts.

i have tried several end-runs around this issue so i'm finally asking for help.

i have a 3GS, old bootroom, jb at 4.0.1, not hacktivated and trying to update to 4.1 always using pwnage tool. every time i try to put in DFU mode via pwnage tool 4.1.2, it stops counting for the home button release at 6 and just hangs, never getting into DFU mode.

i tried to get to DFU using redsn0w, but that gave me a 1600 error.

i'm at a complete loss and i've searched the web for an answer and have found nothing. ANY help would be much appreciated.

stupid question, i know, but i just want to make sure before i do something i'm unsure of.

i have a 3Gs, still on 3.1.2 with modem firmware 04.26.08 that was jailbroken with pwnagetool.

am i good to go? i have no idea what the bootrom is.
