Sun, 21 Nov 2010 04:52:17 +0000 http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/1359246784#IDComment110948147 http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/1359246784#IDComment110916844 i have tried several end-runs around this issue so i'm finally asking for help. i have a 3GS, old bootroom, jb at 4.0.1, not hacktivated and trying to update to 4.1 always using pwnage tool. every time i try to put in DFU mode via pwnage tool 4.1.2, it stops counting for the home button release at 6 and just hangs, never getting into DFU mode. i tried to get to DFU using redsn0w, but that gave me a 1600 error. i'm at a complete loss and i've searched the web for an answer and have found nothing. ANY help would be much appreciated.
