...and he will be back on the road in less than a year until he kills someone else. If you are a chronic drunk driver, judges have sent a clear message to do it in Indiana because there are few penalties, even if you kill someone.
Ha! A single mother of children conceived in an abusive relationship is now giving out morality advice? Oh Mixie, you poor thing.
Weird. I thought the LOIT Increase was a result of the property tax rate cap and decreased revenues. It looks like the taxpayers have once again been lied to by their leaders.
I wonder what kind of "ladies" these two attract.
Dillweed, I often think the same thing. MLK's generation found so hard for the rights that we all have today. If some of these fools had an inkling of the struggles that generation faced, would they be so quick to waste all of the opportunities that they are afforded? How would MLK react to some of the fools today who use the color of their skin as an excuse when his generation had it 1000 times worse?
I agree. Chicago just went through reincarcerating 58 of those released because they reoffended. Can you imagine a loved one being killed by an early released prisoner all in an attempt to save the state money? Instead of releasing violent criminals, bring the death penalty to Michigan. Michigan spends an average of $32,000 per year on each inmate. It is time to cut out the extras like cable tv, internet, and other luxuries. They need to start working to help pay their debt.
Who cares? He is a college student, a 20 year-old college student. Let him pay his fine, take his punishment, and move on. Why is this news, especially when it happened in Minnesota? It is not like he was arrested for a DUI (which would be a completely different situation).
I was agreeing with you. I worked in the Dells over the summers during college and was able to learn a lot about tourism trends.
Thank you but you are right, it is hard to leave. They really enjoy the company and many times, it is their only social interaction.
The Dells did not start out spending millions on a waterpark. The Dells started with nature tours of the beauty of the upper and lower Dells then grew from there as crowds started to form. Noah's Ark Waterpark started out as a laundromat and arcade and gradually built itself into what it is today. Dropping a multimillion dollar structure in the middle of nowhere is not a good business plan. Three Bears Resort in Warrens did what Elkhart is attempting. The facility has been vacant for two years. The way hasty decisions are made in the Elkhart/SB area, I have a feeling very little market research was done.
