I said he shouldn't ban people because he doesn't like the opinions he sees and he STILL hasn't unbanned me. (no there were no swears, vulgarity, or personal attacks in the comment I just said that it was irresponsible position for a mod to take up. That was the worse of it).

I was banned it seems for at least a month (still haven't been unbanned mind you) for saying you shouldn't ban people for disagreeing with you....

Wow your are really a douche aren't you? Internet forums are meant for intelligent debate via the exchange of ideas through evidence and detailed explanation. This has been the foundation of intellectualism since Socrates. You say that arguing my point is neither productive or useful, yet I've actually been able to convince people of my point DOZENS of times. Possibly one of the most useful and productive thing some can actually do with their ideas is spreading them and possibly convincing other people that parts of your perspective might be worth consideration. Trolling implies inflammatory comments with no intention other than to gain enjoyment from the other party's reaction but debating is the mutual gain of knowledge through exchanging of ideas and evidence and instead of being used strictly in order to try to undermine an opinion it is used for mutual benefit. There is so much you can gain from other people that you can't get unless you have a long argument with them and learn their rational for their viewpoints, this is a foundation for self improvement even on minor things like "what makes a story good"? So no, both from my personal perspective and using the definition of what you are accusing me of, debate is not trolling.

not really it's a forum and debate is a fun and thought provoking activity. This is opposed to say just mindlessly watching youtube videos or something of the sort this can make you directly gain perspective and good rhetoric is always a great thing to practice.

wow what a douchey and ridiculous thing to say. "the people who disagree with me are obviously fat neck beards by the virtue that they disagree with me" yeah okay, sure that's a way to come off as extremely biased and pig headed.

I hardly think anyone was expecting "citizen kane" if they liked the show to begin with I just wanted a non cliche, interesting story and a clear narrative. You know, the fundamentals?

prepare to be disappointed whether you enjoyed it or not.

Yeah, I mean just him saying he liked it probably didn't justify a retort. I usually like to scout out these threads for opinions I find ridiculous like "the ending wasn't a plothole" or "the plot wasn't cliche" because I can actually provide evidence under quantifiable definitions that this is not so. Someone just saying they liked it, not so easily argued against. Like at all.

You really shouldn't have all you said was it was available on pirate bay. Like what is that going to do?

Telling someone you can pirate a movie on pirate bay isn't exactly what I'd call advertising its location especially when you can avoid the hassle just by watching it on youtube.
