Defining Our Terms
One thing that makes public communication difficult is that we don't all agree on the definitions of the words we are using. For example, what's the definition of freedom? What's the definition of terrorism? How about democracy? Capitalism? Do we assume we all agree?
Totally, dude. Up next, Klingons running our government. KHAN!!!!
Kissing the Saudi king's ass is a ritual for American Presidents. Hell, Bush even held his hand. It's ugly, but they do have more oil than anyone else, and I love my car.
My suggestion is to panic.
This clip is intentionally misleading. If you watch the full clip, what he was actually saying is that while McCain's supporters were calling him a muslim, McCain himself was not. Stop falling for this childish garbage.
Yeah, whatever happened to the good old days when women couldn't vote, and people with dark skin got their own drinking fountain? We need to return to traditional moral values.
The bible says "spare the rod, spoil the child". Of course, it also says that if someone eats shellfish, everyone else in the village should throw rocks at their head until they die. It's a confusing book. Come to think of it, there's a line in Dueteronomy that says "If two men are fighting over land and one man's wife grabs the testicles of the other man, she shall be put to death. Show her no mercy." Good stuff to teach your kids.
They did the same thing back in 2003 and 2006. They do this all the time. The North Koreans are constantly talking smack about war, but it's not in their interest. Also, it's not in South Korea's interest, since their capital, one of the most populated cities in the world, is within artillery range of the North. This is just political theater, ongoing since 1953.
And by the way, we invaded Iraq because we knew they didn't have WMD's. If we thought they did, would we have sent 160,000 American troops to their certain demise?
How do you know what the founding fathers didn't think?
Oh, I thought your username was taken from the author of Leviathan, considered the godfather of modern conservatism.
