The U.S. Census Bureau is responsible for collecting data that produces statistics on employment, unemployment, income, inflation, health, crime, housing, and a host of other important statistics. One survey that a caller mentioned was the American Community Survey. This is a legitimate survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.
