'Murray' and 'Citizen of the World' show the kind of muddy thinking (or really, non-thought) that brought us BHO. I lived most of my life in Seattle (60 years) and witnessed the flat contradiction between popular opinion and observable fact. Those numbskulls continually elected a baldfaced liar, Jim McDermott, by about 85%. McDimwitt constantly touted the nearby Canadian health care 'system', saying many of our WA state residents traveled to B.C. to get care because of the difference in costs. Nothing could have been more flatly false. In fact, a certain number went up there to get cheap, dangerous drugs (like 222's) that were illegal in the U.S. without prescriptions - for good reasons. I know of absolutely *NONE* who went up there to receive serious medical or surgical treatment. To do so would have been dangerous to your health, and everyone with brains knew that. By comparison, when McDimwitt was championing this nonsense, I happened to walk thru the parking garage at Virginia Mason, and was amazed at the overwhelming majority of cars with Canadian plates. Yet the Seattle PI (thankfully now gone) and the Seattle Times constantly pushed the propaganda message and declined to print any opinions or facts from the other side. So much for our vaunted 'free press'. The same kind of truth-inversion is happening today via obamamedia, obamacare, obamadictator, obamacongress, obamatv, etc etc etc. Obamacare? The DEATH WATCH.
Oh, by the way Murray and 'citizen' (what an utterly childish moniker) - are you not aware that the Canadian non-system is bankrupt? - or that for many years they have had to simply shutdown two months out of every twelve?

...and it is OBAMA, PELOSI, REID, DODD, FRANK, GEITHNER, et al who have prepared in secret for months or years for this opportunity to perform a hostile takeover of our government. I would challenge any of you to make that statement about the entire GOP - tho some (like the Bushies) have certainly not stood in the way.

Those of you that are unable to see where the immediate problem lies have to be as blind as those who actually voted for Obama. Isn't it time to say what we mean, and mean what we say?

The clear end of this should be a demand for near-term recall elections and impeachment, nothing less. If you think this thing is going to wait until 2010, and that a grass-roots movement putting the GOP back in some nerdy majority will make a difference, you are smoking something. A new GOP majority will be no better than the last crew of wimps that took over in 1994 and fumbled it all away.

What has to be the slogan is REPEAL IT ALL!. If you think you can be politically correct and 'nice' about all that, and avoid ruffling any Obama-bot feathers, you're not looking with your eyes open.

I hope Glenn can see the error here. Obama and his goons ARE THE PROBLEM.

And after all, Glenn, I hear you pretty much badmouth Democrats all day long on your radio show - you did today - and on TV (like the Atty Gen from CT). Does that put you in violation of your own principles?

We can get beyond this. But only if we get our heads on straight, and know what we mean, and who is the problem. Not Glenn, not any of you, not me, not the GOP right now; it is the fascist left.

May God help us. I pray daily for our movement. How many of you are praying?

For those of you who are *still* having trouble with this, here it is one more time:

1) Glenn has tried to impose his opinions and will on an already well-begun, succeeding movement. Those opinions are curtailing free expression of ideas, namely, "I don't want to see any anti-Obama signs". This is sheer nonsense.

2) In doing this, and in posting "his" guidance at the top of this page, Glenn is simply trying to jump out in front and pretend to be the leader of something he did not originate. That kind of manipulation is fundamentally dishonest, and makes a mockery of his own 'principles'.

3) I have been a Glenn Beck listener - watcher - from when he was still on CNN. He has a lot of good ideas, an excellent perspective, and I like him very much. But it is Glenn Beck who is trying to impose HIS will on these Tea Parties, and thus Glenn Beck who is doing the dividing.

4) Nobody asked him, that I know of, for his opinions on how they should be organized. He, on the other hand, has frequently jumped in on the air and told some of them to not criticize Obama, or Democrats - sheesh - as if criticizing Obama somehow vindicates the GOP.

5) Most of us who are conservative, and over 21, are sick and tired of weak-kneed Republicans who cannot be counted on to oppose the Left. In restricting our own expression, by simply following Beck blindly on this, we would be falling in line with that already battered, whimpering, sorrowful, WIMPY conservative model.

6) As I have said, a march on Washington with a bunch of neutered chickens, who cannot clearly delineate their position in few words, is something that will fizzle before it gets started. Who wants to be part of something so weak and confused?

7) ..and yes, I am beginning participation in a local tea party. I GUARANTEE I won't be the only one there with glaring anti-OBAMA signs. And maybe some ant-certain-GOP-wussie signs, too.

8) Here is the point: It is OBAMA who has created this Coup-d-etat on our government. It is OBAMA who has just appointed Koh (Coh?) as head state dept lawyer, who wants to give away our sovereignty; it is OBAMA who has closed GITMO and wants to release these hoods in our midst; one could go on for many pages. Enuf.

I would like to remind all that neither Glann Beck nor this 9/12 project is in any way the originator or advisor of tea-parties. If it were not for the Fascist in Chief - Obama - there would *BE NO TEA PARTIES*. The statement at the top of this page,

"Glenn reminds all that the Tea Parties are about making our politicians follow the Principles and Values."

is out of place and completely wrong. Indeed his 'Principles and Values', while true and correct, were not even formally announced until AFTER Glenn finally mentioned the tea-parties on the air.

So get off their back, Glenn. Look on the *REAL* teaparty websites and follow #tcot a bit. You will likely not find much sympathy for this wimpy politically-correct paranoia of offending Obama-bots. Perhaps if Mr. Beck cannot get his priorities straight, he can simply go on with his (very valuable) 9/12 project and stay out of the teaparty business.

As can all of you 9/12'ers.

Glenn - but OUT of Tea Parties ---

Those of you who commented on my earlier post could have at least *read it* before making your grand proclamations.

None of you, including Beck, are in any position to declare 'what the tea-parties are about', or 'should be about', since none of you had anything to do with them, nor did Beck. Frankly, the tea parties don't NEED 9/12, and vice versa. Go do your own thing, but if you want to be party of the tea parties, get on THEIR boards, and in #tcot, etc.

Nobody really needs or cares about your opinions here, or about Glenn's. If you can't see the points I made earlier by simply reading, go back to school, chilluns. BTW - how many under 18's are posting on here? Do we really need to hear childish prattle ?

Give me a break.

Tea Parties Don't Need Beck's "Help" -

Sorry to say Glenn is still trying to control and limit the manner of
expression used in Tea-Parties, even tho he had nothing whatever
to do with their origination and organization. Specifically, Glenn today
told two Texas Tea-Party organizers that if political signs were used,
(as in 'Impeach Obama') he did not want to attend.

Glenn's attempt at stifling free expression is not only contrary to his
own expressed 'principles', but is going to backfire in one of
two ways: 1) Everyone will simply ignore this kind of repressive and
unnecessary 'guidance', or, 2) The entire movement will fizzle like a
bunch of pointless noise, with no central theme or target.

Personally, I hope the Texas folks, and everyone else, simply *de-invite*
Glenn from attending, unless he can back off a bit and publicly retract
this ridiculous nonsense. Indeed - is anyone really foolish enough to
believe *any* of this would be happening - even his '9/12 project' - if the
Democrats had not won the White House and a huge majority in
Congress, and consequently jammed unconstitutional bill after un-
constitutional bill through, with Republicans not even allowed to read
them? Or, conversely, would the same not happen if the GOP had won
and tried the same tactics? But they did not, and 'This Government', as
Glenn is fond of calling them, IS Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Rangel,
Dodd, and the other DEMOCRATS. In case Glenn has forgotten, the
GOP is the minority.

Yes, the GOP has its share of goofballs who need replacing. But the
opposition is rightly to Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the other Fascists in
'This Government'. Actually, Glenn spends almost all of his time on
the air denouncing Democrats, only rarely Republicans. Isn't this a
violation of his own stance? How come you don't restrict yourself from
criticizing Obama and his administration, and the Democrats in the
Congress, during your radio and TV shows, and in your newsletters,
Mr. Beck?

In the run-up to, and during, the American Revolution, King George was
hanged and burned in effigy many times. British loyalists, or 'Tories', were
not popular in many areas. Our revolution was hardly 'nonpartisan', tho
we did not then have our two-party system.

We could do better than this two-party system, as George Washington
specifically warned us. But right now, we have far, far more serious and
immediate problems. Wandering around afraid to say or display anything
that might irritate some stupid people is not going to produce anything
but laughter and derision.

Who wants to be part of a neutered bunch of chickens, anyway? With
this kind of wimpy leadership, the 9/12 project is destined to be just one
more *sigh* before the end - like the cowards in the GOP. I wish you
people lots of luck, but I doubt you will have much success being such
a politically correct bunch of wimpoids. You will meet opposition on the
road - with all your confusion and fumbling about being careful not to
offend, you will be eaten alive.

but a whimper."

The bill, so far just a resolution (trial balloon?), is HR 875, the "Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009". It seeks to criminalize various kinds of small farms for growing certain things. Folks, this is scary. Anyone who knows even a little Russian history (see, '20th Century Russia', Treadgold) is familiar with the similar act by the Communists after the revolution. They wanted to 'collectivize' the farms, part of their planned economy, and the small farmers (kulaks) resisted. The result was mass murder - millions, *millions*, of Russian peasants were simply machine-gunned.
Think a similar thing cannot happen here? Read the bill - google 'HR 875', read the words.

TSToney -
I found a really *cool* Palin button on www.cafepress.com. It's an image of Sarah, but overlaid with the tri-color shading like the Obama buttons. Really neat. Slogan says "YOU BETCHA!".

Princess, I like what you say. Could you please turn off the Capital Letters? Nobody likes to read 'shouting'.
