They really dropped the ball on double rainboom. So much time effort and resources went into it, and I can safely advise people to skip it if they aren't desperate for new ponies. It at least didn't fall on it's face like Dusk's Dawn did.

I haven't seen snowdrop yet, but I definitely did not like double rainboom. I don't know what was worse the story or the constant references/memes.

About piracy: I really cannot sympathize with the makers of the documentary at all on this issue. Releasing the digital download first and with no DRM is like using the honor system to distribute candy at trick or treat. That is to say it's a nice gesture, but are you really surprised when someone takes the whole bowl within the first hour. This was a situation that could have been easily avoided. Releasing physical copies first or at the same time as digital downloads and offer a product consumers will know is worth purchasing is the best way to curtail piracy.

This fandom is built and runs on piracy. If the show weren't so readily available at zero cost. This fandom would be a whole lot smaller, if it existed at all. So before you go condemning the pirates just remember they're responsible for every episode on youtube and every unofficial stream.

Surprise, surprise. The documentary about a fandom that's been distributing the show for 2+ years pirated the documentary about them. They really shouldn't have released the digital version first, with no DRM at that.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on this, an unbiased documentary about the fandom would be very boring. And rightfully so, there's nothing that special about us as a group other than how fast we expanded.

They have been ever since the kickstarter got off the ground, because they saw the whole thing as rabid bronies hurling money out of a t-shirt cannon to pat themselves on the back. After seeing this trailer I have to agree with them.

Just because the other side did it first doesn't give us an excuse to be biased. I remember someone fox news, I can't remember the name, saying the same thing to Jon Stewart about why fox news has a conservative bias.
