Oh pulleaze!!! The police were just minutes away. What could possibly happen in a few minutes?

Note: This is intended as sarcasm.

Friggin' lawyers. If there were no lawyers, we wouldn't need them.

My wife was teaching my teenage daughter to drive and there was a minor single-car accident. Not longer after, my wife gets an unsolicited letter from Law Office of Raymond J. Bradley regarding the starting of a claim. The letter states that they have read the police report and suggests she be represented by an "experienced and knowledgeable" attorney.

"You can trust me"
"My firm is aggressive"
"We fight for the underdog"

What, are we going to sue our daughter? And we wonder what's wrong with our country.

An errant ball, thrown by a professional pitcher and hitting a kid is hugely different than an adult hit by an errant 11-year-old catcher's throw. Even in professional sports, the catcher doesn't hit the pitcher with a 90+ mph fast ball.

Still, kid or adult, if you're at a game, there's a chance if getting hit with the object in play. Sorry, no windfall for you either.

You gun nuts are all the same. Why would he have needed a gun? The police were just a few minutes away.

If he can throw a ball that hard at 11, I'm betting the scouts, agents, etc, are lining up for this kid. And he's just a catcher?

Now comes the congressional witch hunt on the use of steroids in little league.

This is what happens when you put the child's "self-esteem" over the actual discipline and welfare of the child.

Police patrols to protect these little ba***rds?? Really??? OK, maybe death threats are a bit over the top but these little s**ts need to face the consequences for their actions. Perhaps a little fear in their lives is a good thing. Obviously they don't fear the school or their parents.

Wait. This suspect had a hoodie. Police must be guilty of profiling. Seriously, I hope they catch these kids and actually hold them accountable for their actions. A month of hard work oughta do it.

When I was in school, things were vastly different.

Parents, teachers and children were ALL taught to rely on a concept which is completely foreign to American society today.

We called it - "common sense."

Anyway you spin it, it's just another tax against legitimate users.
