You don't "get anything out of it". They raise the cost of the drinks by the deposit amount and you only get it back if you bring the container back.

I'm insured against that. And I still would be. I buy insurance based on if I feel it is necessary. I do not like being told I have to buy anything.

I personally don't want Universal Healthcare, but I see the advantages and it makes sense. Forcing private citizens to buy from corporations NEVER made any sense to me.

This bill was the worst of UHC and Free Enterprise combined into one terrible package. Either fix the free enterprise with some regulation, or create actual UHC.

We need healthcare reform, we really do.

But that argument right there is absurd and unconstitutional. The interstate commerce clause is one of the most abused of the constitution. Maybe this can be a stand against that.
