Hard to say, since it's been getting progressively better, but probably a tie between 4 and 5. Roman's rant about how fantasy and sci fi are totally different was hilarious, as was Constance's "what's ecstasy?" and her barnyard animal thing from episode 4.

I'm really glad it's on cable, they don't have to hold back.

Thank you for this. I fucking love Party Down. I started watching it because of all the Veronica Mars connections (season 1 of VM is the best seasons of TV I have ever seen), and it did not disappoint. Every episode has been excellent so far.

"I love how you live in a dorm, it's SO American. It's like, let's eat baloney sandwiches and be racist!"

I love pretentious Ted because he's the worst kind of douche- the guy who think's he's high cultured but is quite wrong. It's not encyclopAYdia, his French accent sucks, he pronounced the Italian stuff wrong last night, etc. Everyone knows someone who is at least a little bit like that.

I thought the globe was funny-- most big fans know she's pregnant so finding funny ways to hide her belly is kind of like a game.

Thanks for the info, JD! Although I have to say, I don't know whether I even want 8 years of this show, even though I love it. I cannot think of a single TV show that lasted that long which didn't have a decline in quality towards the end.
