Well that sucks! I bought a big container of Healthy Hides Chicken, Pork, and Beef hides from Costco awhile back and have been giving them to our dog. She absolutely LOVES them. Now after reading this article, I went and looked at the label. Yep, made in China! :( I think when I bought them I must have just seen that the company was in FL and thought that was where they actually came from. I usually try to avoid Chinese stuff as much as I can, though you can't eliminate it entirely. Now I'm wondering if I should get rid of these things even though she has probably eaten 20 or so of them without issue.
I see your point and agree with your assessment of area cyclists. Most of them seem to be on a suicide mission or they are just d-bags. That said, how most of the Seattle area cyclists ride is not relevant in this case. Not only was the cyclist (Wang) apparently not at fault, but this Garcia-Reyes guy ran off after the accident. Really, it doesn't even matter who was at fault because it was a hit and run. He left a man to die after mowing over him with his SUV. If it was truly an accident, he should have stopped, called for help, and admitted that he screwed up.
I'd also like to add that most of the drivers in this City leave a lot to be desired too...
I thought about entering these competitions when I was still driving truck. I can honestly say (sadly) that many of the current truck drivers just wouldn't stand a chance. And that's not a way of bragging about my own skills...many out there really just shouldn't be driving. Believe me, I could tell some stories from the road, mostly about those in cars, but also plenty of trucks! Lisa is obviously one of those who does belong out there though. I wish there were more of her and I wish her the best for kicking some butt at the competition!
And you may not have even left it open. A friend of mine had to replace his garage door opener recently because he discovered it was opening the door at random times all by itself. At first he thought he had left it open a couple times, but then it opened one time while he was actually at home. I have also left mine open at least once, but I'm not really sure that that's what happened in my case either.
I'm not waiting until they get in! Easier to clean up the mess if it's outside!
If there's nothing in the CC&R's, the HOA doesn't have much to stand on. We have a restriction in ours for bars on the windows (they can't be visible), so I just put the bars on the inside of the window. :) Hmmmm, now that I watched the video, it appears that their bars ARE on the insides of the windows. Only the bars on the doors are on the outside. And it looks to me like they put in nice, high quality bars. The HOA needs to suck it!
I find it interesting that the same group of people who are helping push our jobs out of the Country are the ones crying the loudest. Just trying to get attention and make themselves look like they care with the elections coming up, I guess.
And I definitely agree that the uniforms should be made here. I'm just noting that my reasoning is different than theirs. You know that deep down our elected officials just don't really give a rip. If they did much of our manufacturing probably never would have left...
They should get him for the chiropractic treatment too. What a loser.
When I click on the video the screen just goes blank white. Is that a look into his plans as Governor?
