I couldn't bring myself to sift through all 21+ pages of the comments. A major divide in opinion is inevitable considering the pivotal nature of the episode, but I certainly wasn't prepared for the ridiculous level of negativity in some of the posts.

Admittedly, the episode felt a tad rushed for a season finale — was hoping for a multi-parter myself. However, I thought it was pretty well-polished as a whole. At any rate, It is a fitting conclusion to a short (but nonetheless delightful) ride that has been season 3, executed nicely in the form of an epic musical.

I’m somewhat ambivalent about the ending. On one hand, it is undoubtedly much more in line with what I've come to expect from a light-hearted show; on the other hand, I can’t help but to feel that the alternate version could have delivered a stronger impact overall. Fortunately, as far as RD’s character development is concerned, I think both endings actually have equal potential for interesting developments further down the road.

With that out of the way, I think the follow up summed the episode up remarkably well, especially with regard to the pacing. It has been a while since I enjoyed an episode's buildup as much as this one’s. I'll be damned if this episode isn't a new favorite of mine.

I had high expectations for this episode, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
If anything, the Star Wars homage is simply icing on the cake!

Is it just me, or are episodes falling under unusually heavy scrutiny these days?
Well, call me shallow, but this is a brilliant CMC episode in my book.
