AMEN, I just received my license to carry in PA. I don't carry all the time or walk around thinking I am super-man, when I carry, it is to protect my family. For example, my wife and I walk our dogs late at night ( I work 2nd shift) and I would not feel safe if I didn't. I don't live in a bad neighbor-hood, but I am also not going to take the chance....

EXACTLY! Thats why after the Republican party abandoned me, I joined the Constitution party. It is the third largest political party and growing!

But in the meantime, we need to blog, we need to chat on these pages. It keeps us angry, it keeps making us madder and madder until we decide to do something about it. We need to have the rhetoric to keep us focused. Anger is a good motivator. We need to feed off of each other, not only our ideas and complaints, but our hopes and fears as well, without these sites we would never know that there are thousands of people out there just like you and I. They would never know that we exist. And they sure as hell would not know how we felt.

Keep talking people, keep typing, keep getting mad. That is how we start to make changes!

I was going to reply to your comment entitled the bottom line, but had a liitle to much to say, so I made it a seperat post.
I am taking action. I am writing letters and sending emails and making phone calls. I do talk to people and try to educate them. In the upcoming elections, I am going to vote against every incumbant thats on the ballot, I will vote third party. At the next Presidential election, I am voting Constitution Party. I may be "wasting" my vote, but when my wife, family, friends, co-workers, when the world see's that I am serious, maybe one other person will join me in the next cycle. Then two more after that and so on.

What good are we doing? When the first Lady breaks tradition and hugs the Queen of England? Were these mental giants not informed ahead of time? And what is with the Ipod? Again breaking tradition. What, they couldn't get a Wal-Mart gift card? And I think the biggest thing that has pissed me off is the President of the United States bowing to anybody..... That just makes me angry. That is just sick. To my knowledge, I do not recall a President ever bowing to a King. Obama has just weakend our reputation in a major way.

Finally, I would like Obama to send out a email or call to every country in the EU and officially remove my and my wifes name from his apology to them. I did not vote for him and I sure as hell don't need anyone apologizing for my arrogance, if anything, I have not been arrogant enough.....

Being a former US Airborne soldier, i am quite confident in the capabilities and leadership of our armed forces. The problem as I see it is the same problem the brave soldiers faced in Vietnam. These are becoming political wars where the goverment tries to run them and not our Generals. Let those who have the military training fight and win these wars.
Also, these wars could be over if we got the reporters out of there and let our military do what it has to do, roll in, roll out. Does anybody really believe that with our technology and weapons systems, we could not have gone into Afghanastan and had a real victory in a matter of months?!?!?!?!!
Third, why are playing by the rules of the Geneva Convention? They don't, and besides that they (the terrorists) are not even covered under the Genvea convention. Quit trying to make everyone like us!!!!!!!!
