I believe in order for the industry to be nationalized he needs to control production, distribution and price. So in answer to your question I don't believe he is quite there yet as the feds only control distribution at this point. Give em time, they'll get around to it.

Tip#1: Try to adhere to the 9-12 principles and values. Tip#2 lean a little more to the consevative side, we are constitutionalists. We do not believe the constitution is a "living" document. Tip#3: Present a thought provoking, funny or well researched post. Tip#4: Be respectful of other peoples opinions. (see tip #1). Tip#5: Last but certainly not least, stop trying to iritate people. It doesn't work, they just laugh at you.
There, I hope this helps.

Thanks for an informative post. It is my understanding that the founders were quite pessmistic as to whether we, as a people, would be able to preserve the republic because it gave us the same freedoms as God. Natural law if you will. The freedom to make some really bad choices without the interference of government. It was their opinion that without a moral compass through the instrument of religion that the natural instinct of humans is to revert to anarchy. As we look around us today this fear is more than BEGINNING to be realized, it is here. The more laws we pass distancing the state from religion the more we lean toward anarchy. The SCOTUS has ruled exactly 180o wrong in its interpertation of the 1rst amendment. The government has no business telling us WHERE we can practice any religion, whether it be the town square, the town hall or even the schools it is encumbent upon the government to make accomadations to any reasonable request to excersise that right wherever they please. Your thoughts?

The man went for a walk for crying out loud, albeit a long walk and he probably should have at least let his wife know. (He probably did let her know and told her to tell everyone she has no idea where he is) He was entrusted with running his state and doing what he thought was best for his state and once again the heavy hand of the federal government slammed down with yet another assault on states rights. He's pissed as well he should be! The stimulis $ is BS. The state where I come from has had to cut back repaving of roads by 2/3 because of a lack of money while our social community action programs receive millions in stimulis funds. This money was supposed to benifit all Americans and create jobs, not to little pet projects on the liberal wish list. We were promised that infrastructure projects would be a top priority of the stimulis money. Ah the old Washington 2 step, ya gotta love it.

The US adheres to international law more than any other country on the planet, do we sometimes violate it? I'm sure we do, is it policy? NOT It's not the fault of the US that through our economic and military strength the world has thrust upon us the role of the worlds police so yes we do overthrow opressive regimes. Are we always in the right? I would suspect not. The Geneva Convention was designed and written to apply to countries with standing armies and not ideological armies that encompass the globe. Of course we are belligerent toward Iran, Iran is a bellicose country and only understands belligerence. Iranians are not insecure because of the US but because of their own government. If that indeed were the case why then are so many of the signs the people are carrying in protest in English? It is you sir that is ignorant of the US and what it stands for.

The military has assured us that we have the assets in place and the capability to shoot down any threat to Hawaii. If N Korea launches in the DIRECTION of Hawaii and BHO doesn't authorize the military to take it out then I think it may be the beginning of the end for Obama. His lack of response will be cannon fodder (pardon the pun) for everyone of us in this country that believes that National security is the number one concern facing us. Lets face it without strong national security all other problems facing the country could quite possibly be mute.
