and I have, I have worked every summer for the past 20 years.
As a matter of fact I work a second job durning the rest of the year, so dont tell me there aren't job out there, because there are, you just have to be willing to WORK!

My agency has had to cut over $290,000 for the rest of this bienum, and we are in the educational sector, so yes we've made hard cuts. No we don't have fancy couches or nice new desks, I don't drive a fancy state car arouind. I work for a living.

Now that we've made these cuts we are looking to the future and how we can make do with less. Imagine that a state agency looking to make cuts for the future.

Have you ever thought for even one second that some of us state workers work a SWING SHIFT!

That said, I work for the state, and I work an academic year, meaning I am off and unpaid during the summer. Asking me and my co-workers to take an additional 26 days of unpaid work is tough.

Oh, and during those unpaid days of summer, I can not get unemployement.
