The icon you are seeing is most likely the hide/show annotations icon. clicking the dimension will toggle visibility while in this mode. If you are not in this mode select hide/show annotations in the view pull-down.

Hi Billy,

Actually I have not any experience with any packages other them PDMWorks. I would be intersted in finding out the same. Tell you what I will do, I will ask a couple of my friends that work for some VARs and see what their take on it is. Thanks for the comment...keep 'em coming!

Thank you for the kind words and for reading my blog. Without readers like you, who encourage me to go on, i probably would have been discouraged and quit a long time ago. Don't forget to subscribe to the feed so you won't miss anything.

Yes you can add the Instant3D button to the shortcut bar. When you right click on the Shortcut bar and select Customize, go to the Features category and drag the Instant3D button directly onto your Shortcut bar.

Hey Steve,

I have been planning on doing a whole series on plastic parts including designing parts, molds and drawings. I will probably be able to start covering that towards the end of summer.

Yeah, I know it is really weird. It is only small on Firefox. I am working on it and I hoping it will be fixed soon.
