I think it is a fair question to find out if Mitt is a liar or a felon. Usually we find out a President is one or the other after they are elected. It would be a step in the right direction that we figure which they are before we elect them to be president...
Rachel Carson based her book on science so I am looking for scientific rebuttals. I can't find any reputable scientific sources on this through Google so I thought you might be able to help me. Conservative or Liberal opinion pieces are not reputable scientific sources.

I'm not surprised. Time and again the Republicans most verbal about privatizing everything are also on the public dole. End welfare for everyone but themselves. How hypocritical.
Romney is just saying what he has to in order to try to get elected. He most certainly knows that even if he is elected he still needs 60 votes in the Senate to repeal Health Care Reform. I imagine even a good many Republican's will think twice about being apart of a vote that helps uninsured children to die. HCR is here to stay.
But Republican's will use the repeal chant for rhetorical purposes for a long time to come.
Part of the platform that Obama ran on was health care reform. Obama won the election and then proceeded do do what he said he would do. The result is not perfect by any means, but is a good first step towards the ethical vision of health care for all. Something that brings America into alignment with the rest of the civilized world. The supreme court just affirmed that it was constitutional; so while you may dislike the results of our democracy and constitution, it has by no means been rammed down your throat.
I already voted on Health Care reform in 2008. ...time to move on.
CNN's conservative media bias showing itself again...
And it was even higher before the Bush recession. But I don't believe either Bush or Obama is responsible for gas prices one way or the other. Gas prices won't determine how I vote for President...
Supply and Demand? With the demand from other countries sky-rocketing, existing supply not satiating that demand, and increasing expense of extracting what remains, it's just a matter of time until our gas prices go sky high. I'm guessing conservatively we'll be over $5/gallon by 2015. Probably closer to $6-8/gallon by 2020. (Not including inflation.)
