I don't know if this a tradition or not, but some minor detective work is something I just did after watching the latest episode of SU.

Namely that in prep for Kevin's party, Steven had to give out his phone number so Kevin could text him the address. Steven's phone number began with the 301 area code indicative of the western counties in Maryland. Whilst I knew the show took place in an alternate form of Maryland I had no idea specifically where.

However this area code helped out.

Namely because there's only one coastal county with an eastern shoreline serviced by it, namely Saint Mary's County, Maryland, on the southern end of the state's western side; its eastern border is on the Chesapeake Bay.

So I may not have the approximate location of Beach City's real-world counterpart down-pat, but I have a hint as to the general area.

Well considering how my personal favorite pony race would happen to be alicorns, my first task upon awaking as an alicorn is to learn the most powerful form of magic that exists, namely dark magic of the sort that Nightmare Moon would use.

The end goal in mind; forcibly turn everyone on Earth into ponies (namely the kind that you naturally find here on Earth; the sort that aren't completely sentient), either that or just do something to make humans go extinct.

The things that I like, aside from the magic and the ponies themselves, is that at the end of the day in FiM, friendship can actually win. In real life, it seems to be the inverse. In real life, greed wins out, selfishness is the core of everyone's mentality, and being idealistic is the best way to get used, thrown away, or enslaved.

I just hope that things are back to normal at the end of this. I'd hate to see things retconned and done away with. The biggest thing is that I hope Twi is still an alicorn at the end of all this. Fan opinion be damned, I like Alicorn Twilight.
