Do you have SHSH's saved for your firmware? That is the only way to restore to the current version, if I'm correct.

I was able to restore my iPhone 4 to 4.1 using 10.7 on Windows XP (since I dont have the latest iTunes on my Mac). I used a custom firmware, though. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Not surprised that they're not working on it at the moment, but hopefully they have a change of heart for the future. Although, it wouldn't be the same without the Halo 2 MP, but I doubt they would remake that as well, and probably just stitch Halo 4's MP like that did with Halo:CEA and Reach.

It's mostly software base as the article puts it: "The good news is all of the improvements made to the new model have been software based. Owners of the original BassJump can get all of the new enhancements and features for free by downloading the BassJump 2 Software here."

This has actually grabbed my attention. I'm a real fan of minimalism design, and although my iPhone 4 serves all my purposes, I actually have read various reviews as well as engadgets take on this because I found it appealing. I never related it to anything Apple does because I always like to see what competition can bring to the table as well.

This is a phone in which I would really like to try.
