It’s interesting that none of them (I understand they like to refer to themselves as “hard-line Brexiteers” — I guess there are other terms that could be used) never seem to reply to sensible and logical arguments.

And of course, when Boris compromises (which he undoubtedly will) and we move to some sort of deal (sic) they will be first to proclaim his “victory”.

Looks like Boris has let you down again.
Still supporting that the talks continue.
Love to see your reaction when he compromises to get a deal — which he will.
It will be so funny seeing “hard-line Brexiteers” (your words) trying to justify that.

And once again you fail to explain why your hero did not call it a day today. After all we have such sunny uplands with a No Deal Brexit.
The talks continue.
Boris will compromise.
And his fan boys will look stupid.

Good — so if I understand you correctly, if he doesn’t halt the discussions today, you will lose respect for him ?
Even worse (from your perspective) I assume if he compromises for a deal you will regard him as a liar and a charlatan ?
Is that right ?

So why doesn’t Boris stop the discussions now ?

Right so tell me why isn’t he doing it.
I would suggest that it is because he knows that No Deal (also known as the Australian deal or the Somalian deal) would be very disruptive.
Surely he should just follow your considered advice — why doesn’t he ?

If No Deal is so wonderful why doesn’t Boris just end the circus today and just say we are now going to trade from 1st Jan on WTO terms

I’m a Conservative. Old school. One nation.
Not like the recent Momentumesque UKIP entryists

Hate to break it to you, and it may come as a shock, but Corbyn isn’t the head of the Labour Party

It is an interesting question. The average life expectancy of a newly born baby will soon be over 90y.
Sadly according to a recent ONS study healthy life expectancy has not kept up with greater longevity.
We will have lots of old people with no one to care for them and draining much more of our health services resources.
It’s a problem across all the developed world.
