If Carroll wants to continue to sign these players of questionable character then they should expect more of the same. 3rd arrest in 4 years, this should be no huge surprise.

These thugs also would use a gun to make a quick escape with no resistance. Being realistic about it, it's not many people out there that would attempt to fight off an armed thief with their bare hands or purse. Who hands over their keys to someone that just asks for them?
Very sad about these victims here. But this guy wanted her car, and had she given it to him without fighting and challenging him, her chances of survival would be far better. That said, her courage and strength is who she is, and hats off for standing up to this coward.

If traffic was light, then what better time to open her up (briefly) now and then. Jail for speeding only?? WOW, ridiculous...yet no problem letting killers out early because of over crowded jails!
You are wrong in many ways. Do the hundreds of nuclear weapons only kill people? No, they are a deterrent and the threat of their possible use keeps bad people from getting worse. A gun can and often does the same. Someone pulls a knife on your family member, you pull out a gun and tell them to drop the knife or you'll shoot. Most would drop the knife unless they are suicidal, and everyone lives. Without the gun quite possible someone dies. The gun caused no harm and saved a life in this case.
And BTW---YOU go move somewhere else, because our constitution always has and still does say I can own one and it's #2 in the list FYI. That is where YOU are choosing to live and a large reason we have freedom here.
So your suggesting if I want to sell a gun to a cousin or someone else I know that I should be required by state law to run a background check on him? Since that is extremely impractical it then will be forced to be sold thru a licenced gun dealer who will now have near 100% monopoly and just devalue what some consider a reasonable investment. This succeeds at accomplishing nothing except putting more money into gun dealers pockets (where all the guns on the street originally come from to begin with).
