Did your phone ever work?� Did you ever get to the "slide for emergency" screen?� I would try restoring your phone with iTunes.� You can do this by holding the power and home button for about 20-25 seconds (you will see an iTunes cable and logo).� Now, in iTunes, click "Restore and Update".� If at the end of this, you get a "slide for emergency" screen, your phone is fine.� The jailbreak might have not worked correctly and you just need to restore the phone again.� Just post again with results and I'll try to answer.

Install SBSettings from Cydia (using Wifi).� From SBSettings, you can completely turn off:� WiFi, Edge, 3G (which you don't have), and turn down the brightness.� I believe (from my experience), those are the three that drain the most battery - apart from playing games.� So, let me know :)
