Fully applies here. As such, both seasons 4 and 5 have many excellent episodes that I've enjoyed MANY times, and some that I've... um... *watched* once or twice. As such, I would definitely agree with AstrumSpark's comment regarding s4 and s5 being the best since s2. One caveat though - I joined the ranks during the hiatus between 4 and 5 - so season 5 is the first season that I've experienced the pining for (and later, the satisfaction of viewing) a brand new episode. This undoubtedly has an effect on my view of season 5.

I'd like to stress the **full length movie** part of your comment and add "not more of that **70 minute long** Equestria girls nonsense." While I'm thinking about it, how about having a reasonable full length movie plot progression speed instead of 3 rushed quality humane episodes duct taped together, eh?
Must... not... rant... about.... EqG's flaws...!
