How many small town post offices in the United States are in jeopardy? I'd like to see a little more information on the USPS, country wide.

You'd have to blame the person who was supposed to be watching this little guy if you are going to blame anyone. They obviously weren't keeping a very close eye on him. I'm sure no one ever thought something like this would happen, mom has probably left him in someone else's care many times. Horrible accident.

I'd appreciate knowing where your information comes from regarding ATV riding, if you can show me where to find it, I'd appreciate it. My son and his friend were fined by the DNR for riding double on an ATV on our own private property. According to what I've read, this is correct:

* A person shall not operate an all-terrain vehicle or off-highway motorcycle
upon roadways (including the ditch area) except as provided in
section 321.234A (agricultural exemption) or on a designated and signed
trail approved by the county board of supervisors.
Agricultural Exemption:
1. Use must be for a valid agricultural purpose.
2. Operation must be between sunrise and sunset.
3. Operator must have a valid drivers license.
4. Machine must be operated at speeds under 35 miles per hour.
5. If the rider is under 18 years of age they must have a valid safety certificate.
6. An owner of land or the owner’s family may operate an ATV or off-highway
motorcycle in the ditch area that is adjacent to their property (they must
stop riding at the end of their property boundary).
* Riding double is prohibited on ATVs and off-highway motorcycles (even on private
property), unless the ATV and off-highway motorcycle is designed and manufactured for
two persons (most are not) (321I.14).

An ATV is not legal to ride on the road, unless you are going from farm to farm. However it is legal to ride in the ditch that adjoins your property, but not in other people's ditches. It's also not legal to ride two on an ATV, even on your own property, unless they are specially designed for two riders.

Are they possibly just observing them for signs of rabies and then they will be put down? Just wondering. They definately should be put down ASAP, may not be the dogs fault, but they don't deserve a second chance. Hope the little gal recovers, think it could be very difficult for her to ever trust another dog. Very sad story.

Know a family in our town who's house burned, wiring problem, wasn't that great a house, they had full replacement value, they got a brand new house and furnishings, of course they still had to pay off the debt on their old house..........but they had no problems and they were very satisfied with their insurance company........may depend on whether the loss is due to a tornado or fire, as compared to a flood???? Sorry your friend had such a bad experience.
