I completely agree with NI on this! This article is exactly how I feel about the current 3rd party situation in the video game industry!
It looks like another Graphics > Story > Gameplay type of game coming from Sony. . . I'm predicting a 7.5 or lower average on metacritic for this game.

I'm noticing a trend of people starting to appreciate the business practices of Nintendo more and more lately. I think it's because of all the BS that happened in 2014 with the turd parties and their broken and incomplete games, that has lead to people seeing that Nintendo is doing things differently! It's nice to see that some people are actually turning towards Nintendo and the Wii U! : D
I don't know which one is the "better" one in the side by side pics(minus the pics showing the UI). Honestly I don't see any vast improvement like a lot of people are suggesting. In some of the images the left side pic looks better to me, and in others the right side pic looks better. . . just being honest here.
So for you a "Mario game" is anything with Mario in the title? I have totally disagree with that man, because Mario is not a genre! For me I only count 2D and 3D platformers as "Mario games", and everything else is simply a (insert genre here) game featuring Mario characters. Example: Mario Kart is a cart racer, Mario Party is a mini game collection, Mario tennis is a arcade style tennis game, Mario Vs Donkey Kong is a puzzle/strategy game etc. . . Once you start lumping all these games in one category, then you start to diminish what makes these game so different from each other. At least that's my opinion on the matter. : D
