I know what you mean . Also, speak of the devil. What a horrible thing to say!

MOMENTS before logging into my email account and reading this post, I was looking at the empty space above my front door and thinking, "I want to put a Scripture up there. Something that says 'Speak Life" but not in so few words." Wow!

I'm not really into the fox thing as home decor or fashion, but the realistic foxes on throw pillows were not bad (at least they weren't cutesy) and the cutesy fox on the baby romper was certainly tolerable since cutesy on a baby is nearly always tolerable. ;) I have a new niece and I am dying to crochet a fox hat and make a onesie to go with it that says...drum roll please..."What does the fox say?"

I used to macrame when I was in elementary school. (And, yes, that was in the 7o's). I don't recall ever making anything other than plant hangars. I'm not really sure about *that* making a comeback. It does seem *so* yesterday. But, some of the items pictured in this post (such as the rug) were amazing. Funny that I was just trying to explain macrame to one of my sons the other day! "Well, you take ropes... and tie knots... in a pattern... to make something... like a plant hangar." Let you think the ellipses were overdone and annoying, I'll defend myself by pointing out that they represent the pauses I made as I searched for the words to explain macrame. Perhaps the definition would have rolled graciously off my tongue if I had actually done any macrame in the last thirty-something years! ;)
