How are you so sure? Its coloration is similar to most yellow labs I've seen...and without any decent thing to scale the dog, it's hard to tell the exact size, but it certainly looks about the size of a yellow lab... ???

Well something should be done to warn about the scalding water before someone else or someone else's pets get hurt. If the company or the county won't do it, hopefully the people in the area can erect their own warnings in the area. That should be the first thing done, and done now. They've probably had this practice of dumping boiling water into the drainage for decades now, who knows.

Second thing, if the county or the EPA won't step up and get this under control, the minters themselves should do something to eliminate the flow of boiling water into the open. Figure it out. Newton's Law of Cooling. It ain't rocket science. It certainly cannot cost much to implement a device to slow the water flow into the open, or contain the water until it has reached a safe temperature.

Sorry. It isn't child abuse. Comparing it with such is an insult to anyone who suffered and survived as an abused child. Certainly one can find a thousand other adjectives other than "child abuse" to describe the severity of the situation.
