Wow..... It's been a good while since I felt motivated to BLOG BUT, This one certainly has grabbed my attention. So much sophistication all wrapped up in a cozy, {but not too small} simple {but elegant} luxury cabin on the water!

Ohh yeas, Simple Green is great at removing pine stains, winter crud & rain stains off my home every year. Every spring I bring out a bucket, large sponge, water and my Simple Green. After the first wipe down - bam!
My grey, light blue siding is clean as a whistle and ready to show case my spring flowers.

So true, so true. Nothing beats natural lighting and this home sure is filled with that opportunity. What more can I say except - One lucky duck will be able to call this "home".

Many years ago {we won't talk about just how many} I grew up eating fresh seafood from the Chesapeake Bay. My fathers best friend was a prof. fisherman and we ate "the same day it was caught". Fresh fish, crabs & plenty of Rock fish & clams. I slurped raw oysters faster than my dad could shuck them. He was at the sink, me at his waist. I ate clams raw... and cooked. While there are still fish available I noticed a huge difference with the polluting of the Chesapeake. Seafood and the like are not suppose to have "things growing on them". I saw with my own eyes. There had been a great deal of waste dumped as well as chemicals & LORD only knows what else, although everyone denies There has been an effort over the last several years to "clean up the Chesapeake" and I do believe its being done or has been. I moved North over 20 years ago now but, if I want great seafood - it's coming from further north. My point being : OMG -" To be that close to fresh fish, clams & lobsters!!!! Talk about a dream??? Fresh seafood DOESN'T STINK! It smells like the sea! It only stinks when it starts to rot. You can clearly see how the clam bake above tastes & smells soooo good. WISH I WERE THERE EATING TOO.

For many years I did not favor blue. However, when done tastefully & elegantly as these rooms are - I LOVE IT!

It fits so well and is so well suited for the living area.

The "white on white" is my all time Fav!

Just wondering........... "How many mail-in entries are you folks sending?" I thought about writing out a few but, considering how many million entries are sent in, I might not waste my stamps. However, it only takes one entry to win right? Plus, I wonder how many of the winners did both on line & mail ins? Just another question running thru my head. Or, if they entered daily or just once? Just thinking...

I must agree - beautiful work! I've always been envious of those who have that talent. The weirdest thing is "I'm very artistic & creative" BUT, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler!

BTW - LOVE all the ORIGINALS. Couldn't choose just one.

Thank you for the clarification. I noticed something happening on the sides of the home in a few pictures. But, nothing clear enough to make out. Truly appreciated the help.
