I can't speak for the Middle East, but as an outside observer, I appreciate your integrity.

The truth is, almost ALL humans say and do stupid things in the midst of turmoil. During WWI and WWII, Germans, Japanese, and others (citizens) see persecuted unjustly because others were fearful and angry, needing a scapegoat.
