Oh, they were Mitt "supporters" and Paul "partisans"? I get it. And who did the story say were throwing punches? And who was civilized enough to stick around afterwards to actually talk about the issues? Gotta love the media.

Yea! Thumbs down for the Constitution! :) RINO power! We don't need no stinkin' republic.

Repost, but maybe it fits here better..

The proper Constitutional response to the whole "gay marriage" debate... The Fed needs to stay the heck out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yundkf6EfdA&fe...!

A Democrat who favors gay marriage but does nothing about it is preferable to a Republican who will make it a federal issue and ban it.

"Question 2) In thinking about the 2012 Presidential Election suppose you had a choice between Republican Mitt Romney, Democrat Barack Obama and independent Ron Paul. If the election were held today would you vote for Republican Mitt Romney, Democrat Barack Obama or independent Ron Paul?"

Republican Mitt Romney, Democrat Barack Obama and INDEPENDENT Ron Paul?!

Yep, nothing like biased poll questions to accurately gauge people's feelings :D The fun never ends.

How about this... If the general election were held today, would you prefer Republican Ron Paul, Republican Mitt Romney, or Democrat Barack Obama to be the next President?

I was ChuckyCheese1 at the time (couple of years ago, now), I got wee-weed up over your upside-down flag avitar not realizing what you meant (or it meant). I thought you were probably some liberal troll with no respect for the flag, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. Logged off and ate some much needed humble pie :) Thanks again.

Don't feel too bad 10ACS1, I checked out your profile last night and saw one of your earliest posts that was clearly a response to something stupid I said to you. You were polite and gave me a thorough explanation and after licking my wounds I was appreciative of it. At the time I thought you were a jerk, but looking back, you couldn't have been more polite. I voted for Paul in the primary against McCain last time and I wasn't even a full-blown conservative-libertarian, but your posts helped me to see how far the GOP had fallen from its conservative roots (and it's pretty darn far). I eventually voted for McCain in the general, and may vote for Romney this time DESPITE the immaturity and bombast of the current crop of "conservatives" supporting him. But, it's too soon for that. I won't vote AGAINST any candidate based on their supporters, not Obama, not Romney, not Paul. I recommend others do the same. Research the candidates views and platform and compare it with the Constitution and the writings of the founding fathers, then pick the one MOST in line. I've been saying for over a year that Romney and Paul are the ONLY ones with a chance to beat Obama, so I'm not sad to see the others go, but why settle now for a RINO? Makes no sense to me. No one likes a rude and immature person, especially if they're representing your side. I can't imagine the comments you referred to are looked at with any measure of pride from the typical Republican trying to get support for Romney. There have been a couple of times I've taken a supposed Paul supporter to task for acting stupid, and I try (unsuccessfully sometimes) not to act like a jerk myself. That's the best anyone can do: be a good representative of your "side" and correct those who are not. You're doing as good a job as any IMO; my blood boils at a much lower temperature :D
