As I expected - no criticism. Everything’s just dandy.

Your gleeful posts suggesting that “the EU have had a bad crisis” are presumably exempt from your criticism.

“Whether the target was reached or not is not the issue”

Correct. The issue is why Mr Hancock appears to believe that the electorate so stupid that they can’t see through a blatant attempt to mislead them.

Are you suggesting that the Iraq war was unpopular at the time?

400 people per square foot sounds a little cosy. Social distancing would be a challenge.

That little exchange rather neatly sums up the difference between us.

You appear to believe that because the gentlemen in question supported continued EU membership that I’d automatically take their side.

Perhaps it’s you who should think more carefully before posting.

“I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.”

“ There will be some aspects of the Gov’s handling of this crisis that it will be right to criticise.”

Such as?

Nobody is blaming Mr Johnson’s government for this crisis but its response has been too little too late. Unfortunately for his place in history, the fact that we left it too late to act was known at the time.

Mr Johnson was more concerned with triumphalism over Brexit, bunging a bob to achieve a bong, and going on holiday with his mistress in early March when he could have been applying himself to the upcoming crisis.
