Agreed, it is abysmal. But Brexit is. Abysmal AND pointless. We need to "take back control" and remain.

Students of mine will be aware that I have long predicted we will not leave the EU this month, and probably not ever. It is hard to dispute that my predictive powers have proved more reliable than Johnson's grand strategy. He won't meet his promise to leave this month and only a slow-learning Leaver could imagine his fantastic new plan will work instead.
