Frankly I'm desperate for more slice of life episodes. It's why I came to love the show in the first place. The real joy is seeing these individual ponies, each dynamic in their own way, deal with issues and work through day to day problems, as well as as a group. They become more real and relatable characters through that paradigm. So in a word, yes. I would adore a simple happy season finale.

I hid it for a long time in high school, but once I really got into the show, I started wearing pony shirts, pony jackets, and a pony backpack. And yeah, I did get some crap from some friends, being called gay and a faggot, but after some time everyone just either accepted it or shut up xD Though I never did get anyone else to watch the show, I ended up getting respected for sticking to my guns.
