you overestimate dvds and cds as storage media. They are not a permanent nor reliable long term solution for data storage.

One reason this would be disastrous: the extent to which we have come o rely on electronics in every facet of our daily life/society. Water, sanitation, electricity, communications (even the postal service), sles technology, stock trading... Literal dependence with almost no backup. Military logistics would be cut off at the knees.

We have even lost a large portion of our paper record. Even personal stuff--I have friend that would lose almost every photo of her kids because she almost never prints. (Even storage media are vulnerable.)

I guess then that as a parent I am glad your book has nothing to do with the situation. One of the MOST important groups whose rights need protecting=the accused. WHETHER OR NOT they are guilty.

No one has sad he is an angel. I have no data one way or the other and I personally would not presume to guess. No matter what, injustice.

Yet he is still a minor being interrogated outside the presence of his parents and we have no idea whether he even has legal counsel.

grrrrrrrrr NOT MY AMERICA.

The line should be drawn carefully. You want to prevent individuals with links to terrorism... prevent criminals from entering, but not ban people for their "values" or culture, ideas, religion, propensity for rudeness, etc.

Listen to this man on the street clip from UPI. It was done in or near DC. Apparently people think Supreme Court justices are like elected representatives and they are supposed to represent public opinion! Civics text anyone?

In principle you ban people with a history of criminal behavior. This woman has crossed the line into the realm of banning opposing points of view and for having a history of speaking out.

And no, I do not want to live in a country that only permits people of one identified set of beliefs and values. Setting such "standards" is more China than America.

I am not a regular listener of Savage (the petty namecalling and jingoism get to be a bit much for me) but I DEFINITELY side with him on this. How dare the home office put him on a list with terrorists. He might stir s#!% from time to time with his show, but he has committed no crime. You don't ban someone from entry for having made rude comments.

Dollars to donuts he is on this list because of his CAIR lawsuit.

Maybe its just that his teleprompter wasn't with him, but he did seem to be having trouble remembering how to order a burger.

No one will notice because the nooz will be covering the festivities. You could clog the streets all the way to Arlington and still only see the mall packed with partiers and concerts on TV. 7/4 is a bad choice for the Big Push" in DC. Really bad. :-/
