I agree with you. Education is key to the success of our movement and goals. Through education, we can wake America. We all know that Government's power to govern stems from us, We The People, yet Government seems to have lost that memo. They no longer abide by the Constitution. So now we must ask, if Government is not there to serve us, why are they there?

I would argue, they are there simply for power, that power being derived from money, tax-payer money. Ultimately, who manages that money? The Federal Reserve, a private bank that has complete control on how tax-payer money is used, how it is spent and when to print more money that is backed by increasing debt.

We need to audit the Fed. The easiest way to shut down a government, or at least limit its power, limit or deny it of money. If the Fed opened their books to the American people, the flood gates of corruption would be opened too.

Through education, we can achieve this.

He used to be a professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, 18 miles up the road from me in the Republic of Boulder.

To effect change, we must look to the root of the problem. What do politicians crave most? Power and money. As long as they stay in office, they achieve both, while voting for policies that the majority of Americans do not want. The majority of politicians will not listen to us, for fear of losing their power and money.

The Tea Parties were a partial failure, not due to the attendees but due to the corporate media completely ignoring them. However, they still do serve a viable purpose.

The way to effect change is through education. Talk to your neighbor, a friend or a complete stranger. Explain what Government is really doing. if everyone here simply woke one person, and that person woke one person, soon, America would be looking toward Government, demanding change in a very loud voice

I would respond by saying, the 912 Project is simply a portal. We meet here as a community, then return to our individual groups and make plans and coordinations for our ideas.

And let's be honest. In the current state, the 912 Project site is too unreliable to utilize as a tool for a community this large.

As GeoatBeck stated, there are a lot of groups that have spawned off the 912 Project. Glenn is not our leader, he simply offered us tools to start with. Leadership begins from within ourselves.

I am a member of the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/912Roll_call/ group. We are active and we hold weekly meetings. The 912 Roll Call plans to use education to inspire Americans, to stand up and speak for representation from our Government. Our only requirement is to use your 912 Project Screen Name when joining our Yahoo Group and to declare your State.

However, there are a lot of groups that have spawned from this site. You simply need to look around, or ask, for a group to join.

If Cap and Trade does not pass, perhaps we shall finally see his true colors.

The problem is, we are a signatory to the Geneva Convention. In part, it states we can not willing or knowingly attack civilian communities, even if we know that the enemy are hiding there. As well, the Geneva Convention states a war fighter can not use civilian communities as safe-havens during warfare.

Although I do not agree with how Obama is handling the war, I do not want to see us violating the Geneva Convention. Doing so, we would make ourselves no better than the Taliban and terrorist. As well, if we were to violate the Geneva Convention, all involved would be labeled as non-combatants, unable to receive the protection afforded under the Geneva Convention Accords.

I certainly hope not. The original Amendment was enacted to prevent a dominance of power.
