Too bad we don't have the same law as other states where if a person is killed in the act of committing a crime, any surviving accomplices are charged with murder. Hard to believe he only got 10 years.

I agree that you have to do the research on where they are manufactured, what's in them, etc. But I suspect the real reason they are banned in Oregon is because the state does not want to lose the tax revenue.

I find it ironic that the Federal Government will enforce federal marijuana laws for which the states have OKed and the dispensaries pay taxes but won't touch immigration in which the states have to pay the cost of education and providing free medical treatment and yet the illegals pay no taxes. What is wrong with this picture; with our country?

I think you misread – the backlit LCD can display color but is difficult to read outdoors.

"Most of the readers, including the Kindle and the Nook, use e-ink technology, which is only black and white. Others use a backlit LCD screen, like a laptop does. They can display color and, unlike e-ink, you won't need a light to read them in the dark. But they are almost impossible to read outdoors. On the other hand, the e-ink screens are almost like reading a real book."
