I think the only thing a politician can say in Iowa that would actually make them lose an election is "Corn sucks."

Family is sad, hears fake news, then we get the amazing TV/movie moment where they find out she's actually alive and it's the single happiest moment of their entire lives.

I actually know an idiot Jesus-Republican who had never heard of the political spectrum before (He's 28, I think, and I do mean he had literally never heard of the theory that there were different points on the "left" and "right" scale) and was SHOCKED to learn that the Nazis are actually considered "far right". He refused to even believe it until he was eventually linked to so many references he had to concede, but finished the argument by muttering that they sure did act like liberals.
