Yeah, most likely not. We are not going to give another country the possibility of becoming stronger than us. It just doesn’t make any sense.
I think not! It is difficult to see this because the media portrays the problems that we face as if it is the faults of those in the middle east. As if, they are the ones who are to blame. As if, we need to stop them before they get out of control, but in all honesty how is it really possible to know and find out the truth when our only method of finding the truth is run by the same government that is trying to do potentially selfish and harmful effects on defenseless countries. Perhaps, the entire terrorism threat is somewhat true but that certainly was not the only reason we went over to the middle east. No, there has got to be another reason.
And its most likely for something they have that we want, which may be oil or something else as well.

Sam hit the nail right on the head it is not to do good Samaritan work but for our own selfish needs. We just want to go to other countries to gain their resources that we lack. Now, if we did have a great system that is working then yes I guess we could for the goodness of our hearts, but our system seemed to work just fine in the beginning and now we have so many problems. So, was it really that perfect of a system. And who knows maybe at first the system will work over there and then we look like big heroes, but I am pretty certain that the same thing is going to happen over there that happened here. Eventually, the system is no longer going to work and then the countries we imperialize are going to be just as screwed as we are. Think about this, do you really think that even if we did have the perfect system that we would just hand it over to another country.

I feel the answer to this question is definitely not, we do not have any business going into other countries and telling them how to run their country when our own country is so messed up now. Yes, people believe that we have a lot better of a country than those we imperialize but we still don’t have the right to. People feel that as Americans all good hearted and what-not that we feel we have a responsibility to go into other countries and tell them how to live their lives to better them, but most of them are just fine on their own. Also, it is complete bull that we are doing it to be good and help a neighbor in need.

However, people still would be angered since any case involving children being victimized is not a highly looked upon event, but people in society these days look for non norms and even though gay acts and sodomy is a more accepted act, it still is not on the same common level as male and females having intercourse. Another thing that makes this case unusual is that Sandusky is married with children so the fact that he was victimizing boys the same sex when he was not even out of the closet and there was no indication that he was in the closet to begin with is also what makes this an usual case. As I mentioned before society looks and is glued to unusual cases so the fact that this was a highly respected man performing this hanous acts on the same sex is what keeps peoples attention. Had the case not involved boys but girls then I feel it would not be as frowned upon. Another question to ask would be what if the case involved both boys and girls. Then how would people react.

be able to take place unless of course some other device was used. Now, if all the victims were girls and Sandusky was still a man then I feel it would only be a bit different of a situation. This is due to gay p ride I feel that the reason why this is such an odd and malicious case is because it was boy on boy action. Now that does not mean, that if the victims were girls that people would not be outraged because they definitely would be but still I feel that there would be a bit less publicity on the case if that was the case. I think the answer to this question all goes back to the role of male dominance in a subconscious way. Little boys are not supposed to be victimized, males in general are not supposed to be victimized because they are the strong ones. So, In society this in no way should be happening. However if the case was girls, male on female contact occurs more often then the lather case so it would not be as extreme since its kind of a more common thing

If only females were involved, Im not sure if that means only women in general such as if Sandusky was also a woman or if that means just the victims were women. Therefore i will approach this question from two different angles. First of all, if Sandusky was a woman then it would be a bit of a different case because women cant really sodomize other women so therefore i dont think it would be seen as hanous since no actual penetration would be

I am trying to think of whether or not if I heard a language such as one I had never heard of before if I would feel uncomfortable. I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. There were a few times when I worked at the Aeropostale in the mall that I heard languages such as Russian or Ukranian and I asked the people where they were from and they told me, but even then I did not feel uncomfortable more intriqued if anything else. So, I guess to answer the question: Do you feel uncomfortable when another language is spoken around you? I would have to answer no because I have been pre-exposed to different cultures; however, if I was born completely white and have not been exposed to different cultures then I most likely would be writing a completely different answer to the question right now. So, I think it is safe to say that it depends where you grow up and what you come across as to whether you are uncomfortable or not.

I don’t understand why someone would feel weird around someone speaking a different language around them. I mean, people of a different country, language, and culture have to and need to speak to each other too. That is how people communicate. Honestly, I have never met anyone who didn’t like it or was uncomfortable when someone around them was speaking a language that they could not understand; unless, that person never admitted it. I guess it could be possible. The only time I feel that a person would be uncomfortable is if they were not exposed to any other culture other than the white one. If someone is born in white suburbia and they never heard another language or saw a different skin colored person then they would not be used to it and thus would most likely feel incredibly uncomfortable. I however being half Chinese and a bunch of other European countries on my other side have been very much exposed to different cultures so it never bothered me.

Whenever I hear someone speaking a different language, I don’t really mind. Sometimes if I studied somewhat the language I would see if I can pick out words and if I can be able to tell what they are saying. It is kind of funny, but in a way I try and eavesdrop when someone is speaking a different language around me. Just, in order to see if I can understand any parts. Of course, most of the times I can not comprehend and so I just give up after a while, but every once in a while I can understand and then I feel good about myself. Currently, I am taking Chinese as my foreign language and one day this Asian kid sat next to me on the bus and I heard him speaking on the phone in Chinese; I could actually understand what he was saying. During, this time there was a Chinese word that I couldn’t understand and needed help trying to figure out what it was for my homework the next day. So, in Chinese I asked him if he could speak English to which he replied yes and then I asked him what the word was and he told me. I felt so good I could actually understand him enough to finish my homework.

YOu really dont think that the boarder is controlled at all, you think that we get illegal immigrants who are stupid and just so happen to make it across a heavily guarded boarder. I dont think so. I have been between the boarder of Mexico and the US and have seen first hand that even if your an American citizen they still grill you to make sure that you say who you are and are not lying. So, we are getting the most hard working and clever immigrants that are illegal; therefore, even though for most immigrants it would be highly beneficial to learn the language in order to survive. I dont think that it applys to illegal immigrants because they are smart enough to survive crossing a boarder illegally. SO, im sure they can survive not understanding a language.
