You didn't live in Moscow, Idaho, did you? I live on the same street as a bar named CJ's... and a lot of obnoxious loud inebriated college students wander by my windows at one or two in the morning shouting "WOOOO" and the like.

Speaking as a long-term Trekkie, I am amazed and overjoyed to hear Q endorse this show and its wonderful fans to other afficionados of sci-fi and fantasy alike. DeLancie's recommendation carries a lot of weight, and I'm happy he did this.

I love your alliteration. The breakage of the fourth wall immediately thereafter is amusing as well, as it strikes me as something Twi might say in character in the actual show.

However, your use of periods versus commas when regarding dialogue needs some work, and also you forgot more than once to put a period at the end of a sentence.

Lastly, this doesn't seem like a self-contained story so much as a segue to a full-length one. I'd be interested to read about a magical mane conditioner that fixes arcane mane-futzery, but this is supposed to be a self-contained 300-word story. You let me know when you finish this as a MORE than 300 word story, and I will totally read it.
