The fact that he continued in the treatment for six months suggests me me that perhaps at that time he was more receptive to the psychiatrist's approach. I wonder if ultimately he decided to reject the idea of changing orientation and as part of that he got fired up against the idea of conversion therapy and so filed a complaint.
I don't know if conversion therapy is such a good idea, but it seems to me there are alot of therapies (not just psychological) that don't make sense to me but some people claim it benefits them. Maybe the answer here is if you don't want conversion therapy don't get it.

Doesn't seem very bright to me to make sure the teenagers know they're unlikely to face consequences. Maybe media should start thinking about the effects of what they choose to report...especially when the effects go way beyond simply giving us information. This story doesn't make anyone or any business any safer, it increases the risk.

Sarcasm alert: I know, let's call it breaking news and make sure it gets lots of time and attention. After all, teenagers are reasonable people, they're not going to copy something just because they saw it on tv or a movie or the internet.

For starters, I wouldn't cut through private property on my way home from the store, it runs the risk of behavior being interpreted as criminally motivated (theft, window peeping, etc).

It seems to me that it is preferable to generate constructive strategies for change when we discover problems in how our society is working. Instead, it seems that some rely heavily on protest as a strategy, not just in this case but in several situations in recent times. Protest gets plenty of media attention, but I can't help but wonder if there aren't more constructive solutions.

Since this is one of the major complaint the FCC receives, then obviously Americans want this regulation. Seriously, if there's anyone that is going to miss those loud commercials then they can use the remote to crank up the volume.

Recovering addicts are testimony to the fact that one is not helpless in addiction. Since he was not helpless, he is responsible, and if I were on the jury I would vote to convict him.
